2011 is here give or take a day or two,now is the winter of our
discontent,for now we decide that with the birth of a new year that we also must
be reborn,now is the time to resolve to do things differently in this upcoming
year,for some reason things we could not do in the middle of this
year,drinking,smoking,not visiting relatives,not volunteering more,going to
church etc,by some miracle of time,by some inception of a brand new year these
things that heretofore had seemed impossible suddenly become possible.We resolve
to do better than we had in the previous year because we are encouraged by what
a new year represents,a fresh start thus we strengthen our resolve to improve
ourselves whether that improvement be delusional or otherwise,we resolve to be
better,though more often than not our reolutions are shortlived as is borne by
evidence of past resolutions,we still find ourselves resolving with the same
conviction as before even though somewhere in the depth of our being we doubt
that resolve.Would it were possible to celebrate the birth of a new season that
only lasts three months,four times a year,how much easier it would be to
maintain our resolve then when we would only have to keep it for three months
with an option to extend for the next three, for a new season also is a new
birth,like a new year thus how much easier it would be upon the soul of the
serial resolutor to be able to make a resolution that at the worst would only
have to last three months but at the best four seasons a year could last a
lfetime.

I just never cease to amaze myself at how well improved i am at working with computers and the internet,i went from being completely computer illiterate to being very proficient at putting my website together.I remember the first time i decided to play,play being the descriptive word with a computer,i was reading something on the computer about Warren Buffet and what a savvy investor he was,an article that i found quite interesting,i have now graduated from that moment to actually now having my own shop and blog website,it never ceases to amaze me because everyday i have come to realise thatb i probably now have one if not the best online shopping and blogging website on the web,everytime i log into my site,the first thought that crosses my mind is,so that,s hopw Bill Gates did it!My site looks that good to me.
I have had various comments,like not staying within the box of web building,i have also had ravwes about howw artistic it looks as opposed to a regular shop and blog site,i even had one comment about how artists might be angry at me for trying to profit from my art,ah all this over a shop and blog website oops http://www.yomi11.com just in case you might want to take a look,but whilst you are doing that do your online shopping,you can pretty much find anything you want on there,anyway i just thought i,d sound of about it for some reason,there are still a few technical hiccups but i am sure these problems have a way of sorting themselves out,but hey like the gecko lizard said to itself,when it successfully jumped from a high fence to the ground,if no one praises me i,ll praise myself.

It is quite obvious that to some extent,Barack Obama might have missed his calling,watching his performance at the White house correspondents dinner left me with the feeling that with a little more practice he could have been a pretty good stand up comedian,considering the burden of affairs of the state and regardless of the fact that the speech was written for him,his delivery and timing was still impecable which was pretty obvious by the reaction of his audience,should he eventually decide to leave politics,he justmight have something tofall back on,if he can crack up one of the toughest audiences around,he just might be able to do it for a living,yep i see it now....Tonight Jay welcomes comedian Barack......
Though of course to all intents and purposes the possibility of this happenning are very slim indeed,there appears to be some kind of moratorium on what ex-presidents can and can not do after leaving office,it would appear that becoming a stand up comic might appear to be terribly undignified for someone who used to head the most powedful country in the world,what a shame i guess it,s a talent that will for ever remain buried deep in the annals of washington red tape.

Watching something on tv the other day it was all about the housing crisis,foreclosures,short sales etc,people having difficulty paying there mortgage.Everybody talks about how the banks were overlending etc,but i say it wasn,t just the banks it was the wallstreeters as well as the real estate agents,it seems to me that everyone was trying to grab a alice of the pie without first paying the piper,the bottom drops out when you mess with the foundation,its thumbing your nose at the founding fathers of the country and telling them what they built is,nt worth fighting for or preserving,hey i guess they must have thumbed back.

The United states has elected it,s first African American president-elect,Barack Obama,who now has to deal with restoring America,s place in the global economy as well as Russia,s threatened encroachment on Poland,you would think the russian president would have something bettr to do with his time instead of trying to flex Putin,s muscle for him,things like looking after his country,s economy but instead he chooses to test the incoming administration but i am sure it will all blow over like anything else started without substance and merit.On that note my congractulations to Barack Obama and the democratic party for a soundly contested election and hopefully a brighter future for all.

Robert Peston wrote on his blog about the run on countriesbecause some countries are feelingb the financial strain,in particular Iceland,Ukraine but he seemed more particular about South Korea that happens over the years to have been a strong economically viable country whose currency has taken a hit from the recent financial crisis,for some reason he feels that the UK is also ptentially at risk from the same malaise,the only difference is,as i would like to reassure mr Peston is that the Sterling was and still is one of the pillars that has put a steady bhand on this ongoing crisis thus i don,t see it going anywhere soon ,rather than that i see it actually by it,s stability helping to restore some sanity to the proceedings,thus no matter for concern Mr Peston things will be fine.

For some random reason ,i chose title as the title of this post without remotely thinking of what i was going to write about but on reflection i delved into diffrent scenarios that might have something to do with titles and the first thing that came to mind were Bible titles,you know the part where it says let no man steal your crown,let no man steal your title,it,s obviously the same thing,ordinjarily if it were a title to do with something else,like.Wimbledon,test series,superbowl etc you would go into it assuming that someone else could possibly own the title but the one in the Bible,no one else can own it,but you yet someone else can prevent you from getting a title that is already yours by making you behave in a way that is contrary to you obtaining that title.I think it,s very interesting,my how thoughts travel when you just let it go.

I distinctly remember placing sugar on the floor for the ants,for indeed from an early age i discovered that they were quite fond of sugar, a fact that escaped the attention of my cleanliness minded mother of which i am sure she would not have approved,I mention this as a matter of course of my awareness of the little things,this also comes with a burden of curiosity,not the least of which is a constant image of the male and female ant strolling into Noah,s ark,i can,t help but imagine them walking in just ahead of the elephants and wondering at the discrepancy in size and the enormity of control exercised by the elephants to refrain from stepping on them.Did i also mention that they9the elphants must have had extremely good eyesight.Here is one of the cornerstones of my fascination with the little things.http://www.squidoo.com/little
