China and Google

Far be it for some of us to mix business with politics, but unfortunately in some ways they compliment each other,Google decided to move to Hong Kong from mainland China, this effectively means google has not really left China but just moved to an uncensored site, the point is the majority of the people seem more annoyed at the fact thet google appears to be punishing them for their goverment,s foibles, this might be true ,should google be punishing the people who have no control over their governments policies?

Online shopping and blogging.

I took a look at my shop and blog website the other dayyomio.webs.com/ and for one of the few times ever ,i took a hard look and at the risk of blowing my own trumpet,it appeared to me to be the most aesthetically ,artistically pleasing website to shop and blog online, like the gecko lizard said to itself, when it jumped from a high place to the ground,if no one praises me i,ll praise myself, thus Olatokunbo give yourself a pat on the back for having the best feelgood website on the internet for shoppers and bloggers.

Sade(soldier of love)

I have not had the opportunity to listen to all of Sade,s latest album soldier of love, but the title track which i have listened to is pretty much vintage Sade, she is still the love crusader she always was, a part of me just wants her to arrive at the love nirvana her soul so obviously craves, from her days gigging at the main squeeze on the Kings road to the present, the chic still rocks the love song that make a man think about how he treats his womaqn,i hope we buimp into each other someday, i might even learn a thing or two.yomio.webs.com

Housing crisis

Watching something on tv the other day it was all about the housing crisis, foreclosures, short sales etc, people having difficulty paying there mortgage.Everybody talks about how the banks were overlending etc,but i say it wasn,t just the banks it was the wallstreeters as well as the real estate agents,it seems to me that everyone was trying to grab a alice of the pie without first paying the piper, the bottom drops out when you mess with the foundation, its thumbing your nose at the founding fathers of the country and telling them what they built is,nt worth fighting for or preserving, hey i guess they must have thumbed back.

Christmas shopping

Yep it,s that time of the year again, christmas shopping season,no matter what, it,s one show that must still go on,whether the economy is good or bad, christmas shopping still manages to remain unshakeable, well if you are looking to cut down on shopping expenses this season, the conventional wisdom usually is to shop online, most online stores tend to offfer discounts up to %20 or more.A good idea is to shop at a website that has all or most of your favourite storeshttp://www.yomi11.com that way you get to do all your shopping at once, thus i wish you happy shopping and the best of the christmas season.Posted on Wednesday, Nov 19, 2008, 03:54 PM (UTC -5)

Barack Obama(President elect)

The United states has elected it,s first African American president-elect,Barack Obama, who now has to deal with restoring America,s place in the global economy as well as Russia,s threatened encroachment on Poland, you would think the russian president would have something bettr to do with his time instead of trying to flex Putin,s muscle for him, things like looking after his country,s economy but instead he chooses to test the incoming administration but i am sure it will all blow over like anything else started without substance and merit. On that note my congractulations to Barack Obama and the democratic party for a soundly contested election and hopefully a brighter future for all.
