I have watched this artist develop and grow over a period of time and i am

inclined to think that she is certainly an artist that grows in a vertical

direction,i,m inclined to believe that she can only get better as she

continually matures into an ever increasingly savvy businesswoman and artist,i

wish her all the best in the forthcoming year and as we would say more grease to

her elbows,i leave you with one of my favourite videos of hers and since

this is the last day of 2010,i wish you all a happy and prosperous new

2011

2011 is here give or take a day or two,now is the winter of our
discontent,for now we decide that with the birth of a new year that we also must
be reborn,now is the time to resolve to do things differently in this upcoming
year,for some reason things we could not do in the middle of this
year,drinking,smoking,not visiting relatives,not volunteering more,going to
church etc,by some miracle of time,by some inception of a brand new year these
things that heretofore had seemed impossible suddenly become possible.We resolve
to do better than we had in the previous year because  we are encouraged by what
a new year represents,a fresh start thus we strengthen our resolve to improve
ourselves whether that improvement be delusional or otherwise,we resolve to be
better,though more often than not our reolutions are shortlived as is borne by
evidence of past resolutions,we still find ourselves resolving with the same
conviction as before even though somewhere in the depth of our being we doubt
that resolve.Would it were possible to celebrate the birth of a new season that
only lasts three months,four times a year,how much easier it would be to
maintain our resolve then when we would only have to keep it for three months
with an option to extend for the next three, for a new season also is a new
birth,like a new year thus how much easier it would be upon the soul of  the
serial resolutor to be able to make a resolution that at the worst would only
have to last three months but at the best four seasons a year could last a
lfetime.

I just never cease to amaze myself at how well improved i am at working with computers and the internet,i went from being completely computer illiterate to being very proficient at putting my website together.I remember the first time i decided to play,play being the descriptive word with a computer,i was reading something on the computer about Warren Buffet and what a savvy investor he was,an article that i found quite interesting,i have now graduated from that moment to actually now having my own shop and blog website,it never ceases to amaze me because everyday i have come to realise  that i probably now have one if not the best online shopping and blogging website on the web,everytime i log into my site,the first thought that crosses my mind is,so that,s how Bill Gates did it!My site looks that good to me.

It is quite obvious that to some extent,Barack Obama might have missed his calling,watching his performance at the White house correspondents dinner left me with the feeling that with a little more practice he could have been a pretty good stand up comedian,considering the burden of affairs of the state and regardless of the fact that the speech was written for him,his delivery and timing was still impecable which was pretty obvious by the reaction of his audience,should he eventually decide to leave politics,he justmight have something tofall back on,if he can crack up one of the toughest audiences around,he just might be able to do it for a living,yep i see it now....Tonight Jay welcomes comedian Barack......
         Though of course to all intents and purposes the possibility of this happenning are very slim indeed,there appears to be some kind of moratorium on what ex-presidents can and can not do after leaving office,it would appear that becoming a stand up comic might appear to be terribly undignified for someone who used to head the most powedful country in the world,what a shame i guess it,s a talent that will for ever remain buried deep in the annals of washington red tape.yomio.webs.com

Steve!, shouldn,t their be a little courtesy here,particularly seeing as how you and the Apple CEO share the same first name,microsoft is a software manufacturer whilst Apple is a hardware and software manufacture,you are not in the hardware market,so why knock the i.pad(and here i am hoping i can get a free laptop on the internet whilst you are off shooting i pad,s,you could have just sent me one,i would have been grateful for it whatever your opinion)anyway i hear skeet are more appropriate for skeet shooting.

China and Google

Far be it for some of us to mix business with politics,but unfortunately in some ways they compliment each other,Google decided to move to Hong Kong from mainland China,this effectively means google has not really left China but just moved to an uncensored site,the point is the majority of the people seem more annoyed at the fact thet google appears to be punishing them for their goverment,s foibles,this might be true ,should google be punishing the people who have no control over their governments policies?

I have not had the opportunity to listen to all of Sade,s latest album soldier of love,but the title track which i have listened to is pretty much vintage Sade,she is still the love crusader she always was, a part of me just wants her to arrive at the love nirvana her soul so obviously craves,from her days gigging at the main squeeze on the Kings road to the present,the chic still rocks the love song that make a man think about how he treats his womaqn,i hope we buimp into each other someday, i might even learn a thing or two.yomio.webs.com

Housing crisis

Watching something on tv the other day it was all about the housing crisis,foreclosures,short sales etc,people having difficulty paying there mortgage.Everybody talks about how the banks were overlending etc,but i say it wasn,t just the banks it was the wallstreeters as well as the real estate agents,it seems to me that everyone was trying to grab a alice of the pie without first paying the piper,the bottom drops out when you mess with the foundation,its thumbing your nose at the founding fathers of the country and telling them what they built is,nt worth fighting for or preserving,hey i guess they must have thumbed back.

The amazing race ,one of my favourite television shows,started of in Chile,exactlyawe ek or so later,there was an Earthquake in Chile,fortunately not as bad as Haiti,one wishes them speedy recovery.
